The Surface Pattern Process

Once you've chosen a pattern from the pattern library, I will be in contact to set up the transfer process with you.
I will be confirming the scale and format you require, and a few questions to confirm that my patterns are the right fit for your product.

We will sign a contract together specifying your licence terms and conditions.
​
After payment has been made, I will send you the repeat pattern file.
​
If any further adjustments or tweaks to your chosen pattern need to be made, there will be an hourly fee of $50.
​
This doesn't include any errors/anomalies in the pattern, these will be promptly amended on advisement.

Exclusive vs Non Exclusive
Non Exclusive
​
When you purchase a pattern as non exclusive, it means that someone else can also purchase this pattern. Non exclusive patterns will still be exclusive to the category however. For example if you are using the pattern for baby merchandise, the pattern can only be purchased by someone else for a different category such as greeting cards, stationery etc.

Exclusive
​
When you purchase a pattern as exclusive, noone else can purchase this pattern for the length of your license. It is exclusive to you only.

License term length
​
Our licenses for both Non Exclusive and Exclusive are 2 year licenses unless stated otherwise. When you purchase a pattern, you have the first option to renew your license before it becomes available for sale again.
